Dear Members
Before we look forward to the coming season,
to say an enormous
'thank you'
I am sure you would wish me
to Geoff Forster for organising the visit
to Merrist Wood and the barbecue that followed.
It was a lovely way in
which to finish what I am sure you will all agree was a lovely season of
music-making and this coming season promises to be just as interesting and
exciting.
However,
like most things worthwhile, it demands a commitment from everybody
to ensure that we maintain and indeed enhance our reputation.
There are
several things that you can do to help in the smooth running of the choir:
a)
b)
attending regularly and making sure you tick the register each week.
informing your voice part representative if you are likely to be absent
for any length of time,
and/or are unable to sing in a concert.
c)
paying fees promptly (in the envelope provided).
d)
returning hire music immediately after a concert.
Please make good use of the Come and Sing
information and the season's brochure
- personal contact and recommendation is the most valuable of all publicity.
