Dear Members

For some of us this will have been the shortest ever break from
choir but I hope nonetheless that you are all looking forward to
the start of the new season on 5th September.
Before that,

however,

we have

If you are intending to sing

'Come and Sing'

on Saturday 3rd September.

(and I hope most of you are), please

return your form to the office as soon as possible,

and do spread

the word around to as many people as possible - this is one occasion
where

'the more,

the merrier'

will hold true.

Anyone willing to

help on the day and/or make a dozen small cakes for refreshments
for the interval should notify the office.
Such help will be much
appreciated.

I hope this will be a very happy occasion - net only

for us but for our visitors - and I am sure you will do your best
to make them welcome.

We have a very interesting and busy season ahead of us.

our high reputation,

To maintain

whole-hearted commitment is needed and regular

attendance at rehearsals is paramount.

I think we should all aim

to equal Neville's splendid record last season.
I hope you have all enjoyed your holidays and I look forward to

seeing you on the 5th September.
Best Wishes

ie.
