EN SHAO
August 1995
Dear Choir Member,
Welcome to the new season of concerts, and I look forward to seeing you at some - if not all
of them! I hope very much that you will support our new Principal Conductor, En Shao.
Although his schedule for this season did not allow him a concert with the Choir, he is very
keen to work with you all again, and it does look as if this will be possible during 1996/7.
I enclose herewith your Chairman's letter and Jeremy's rehearsal schedule. The Choir's
programme for next season is as follows: -
11 November - Blest Pair of Sirens, Parry. Great is the Glory - Jonathan Willcocks.
Civic Hall
10 December - Carols - in association with the Rotary Club
- Jeremy Backhouse

We are still anxious to increase our audience and would be very grateful if it is possible for
you to identify possible poster locations. Please contact the office with any ideas. We do
send out a large number of posters for each concert, but are not sure if they get displayed. It
would be a great help if you could please keep your eye on your local library!
I do hope you will enjoy the season!
With very best wishes
Kathleen Atkins
