enslaved Hebrews, the splendour of a ballroom scene in full waltzing motion, the

noble death of a great and tragic Carthaginian queen, limpid and passionate outpourings of love ... these are just some of the vivid and magical places you will be

transported to, all portrayed in the most brilliant and ardent musical language. You will
hear some of your favourite moments from all types of opera, sung by grand operatic
soloists in costume and by the choir, accompanied by a vast orchestra. Prepare
